Position : Operations Manager I

Shift : 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday

Pay : $97,000 per year

Additional Incentives : Eligible for bonus plan

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: [EXAMPLE: A minimum of 6 months operating a Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift or Reach Truck]

Position Overview: Senior Operations Manager (Operations Manager I)

As a Senior Operations Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. Your role involves implementing processes to optimize warehouse operations, leading and developing teams, fostering safety, and driving overall success. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact DHL’s reputation as a global leader in contract logistics.

With over 500 facilities and more than 50,000 associates, DHL Supply Chain North America operates in over 150 million square feet of warehouse space.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
  • Develop and implement workflows, labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Compile and analyze KPIs to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and staff.
  • Partner with HR and leadership for effective hiring of Supervisors, supporting talent acquisition aligned with organizational values.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders efficiently and exceed expectations.
  • Engage proactively with customers to address concerns and enhance satisfaction.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of logistics industry experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Experience with P&L management, goal setting, and project management (preferred)
