Job summary

Monachus Solutions Ltd. in Vancouver, BC, is hiring an Operations & Delivery Manager to build the operating system behind how we deliver for early-stage startups.

You’ll work with leadership and delivery teams to support smooth, consistent client engagements and strengthen operational rhythms as we grow. You’ll own delivery standards, plan capacity, monitor billing and utilization, and manage risk to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in delivery operations, PMO, or professional services operations.
• Experience running resourcing and capacity planning across multiple client engagements at once.
• Have owned or closely managed delivery financials like billing, utilization, and margin.
• Experience building delivery processes from scratch at a growing company, not just kept existing ones running.
• Communicate directly and clearly with clients, consultants, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery standards. Define how engagements kick off, run, and close, and hold the team to them.
• Plan capacity ahead of demand. Match the pipeline to people so deadlines hold and nobody burns out.
• Protect delivery health. Track billing accuracy, utilization, and engagement profitability, and act on what the numbers show.
• Get ahead of risk. Spot delays and scope issues early, and make sure clients hear about them from us first.
• Connect the lifecycle. Close the gaps between sales, delivery, and renewal so nothing gets dropped at handoffs.
• Build enablement. Create onboarding, communication training, and meeting frameworks that raise the bar for every consultant.
• Drive change. Prioritize process and AI improvements with a clear business case, and bring the team along.
• Support the team. Partner on retention, culture, and working-model decisions as we grow.

The Role

We're hiring an Operations & Delivery Manager to build the operating system behind how Monachus delivers. As Monachus grows, we’re continuing to strengthen the systems and operating rhythms that support consistent, high-quality client delivery. You’ll play a key role in building and improving these practices.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Background

• 5+ years in delivery operations, PMO, or professional services operations


• Experience running resourcing and capacity planning across multiple client engagements at once


• Have owned or closely managed delivery financials like billing, utilization, and margin


• Experience building delivery processes from scratch at a growing company, not just kept existing ones running


• Communicate directly and clearly with clients, consultants, and leadership


• Are comfortable with ambiguity and broad ownership in a startup environment

Tools & Systems

• Comfortable using project-management and time-tracking tools to coordinate work and maintain delivery visibility.


• Able to build and maintain reporting on capacity, utilization, and engagement performance.


• Uses AI tools thoughtfully to improve planning, documentation, reporting, and day-to-day operations.

Bonus Points

• Exposure to GRC, SOC 2 or security/compliance is a plus.


• Experience leading AI adoption or other change initiatives


• Experience designing and delivering consultant training or professional-skills workshops.
