Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Funeral Director in consulting with families to design services.
• Present all merchandizing and service options to client families.
• Gather information for obituaries, death certificates, and permits.
• Participate in service arrangements with clergy and others.
• Record merchandise selections and enter contracts.
• Plan and schedule visitations and services.
• Assist in preparing the deceased (dressing, casketing).
• Coordinate transportation and shipment of remains as needed.
• Identify and remedy on-site hazards.
