Job summary

National Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Operations Agent to support branch operations and administer daily tasks in alignment with bank policies. The role emphasizes client service, coordination with team members, and efficient handling of administrative duties within a hybrid work model in Canada.

The ideal candidate will have a college diploma in Administration, at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • College diploma in Administration or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience working in financial services, an asset
  • Have completed, or will work toward completing, the Canadian Securities Course after being hired, desirable
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome clients to the branch and direct them to the right resource person.
  • Provide top-quality customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Help the assistant or branch assistant, as needed.
  • Make daily bank deposits and submit accounts payable.
  • Carry out daily administrative activities (mail, distribute and file documents, order supplies, manage conference room reservations, etc.).
  • Helping Branch Administrator on Administrative and Operations routine when needed.

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is the fifth largest mutual funds brokerage firm in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors.
