Position and/or Project Description:

The OpenText Developer and Support Analyst is responsible for break/fix support for the OpenText Content Management/Content Server and Process Automation/AppWorks platforms, system administration, development and enhancement work, upgrading/patching, quality assurance, and technical documentation.

Mandatory Education/Certifications:

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience
• Formal OpenText training
• OpenText Content Server Administrator Certification

• OpenText Content Server Developer Certification
• OpenText AppWorks Platform Administration Certification
• OpenText Archive Center Administrator Certification
• OpenText Extended ECM for SAP Solutions Business Administrator Certification
• OpenText Extended ECM for Microsoft Office 365 Certification
• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator (beta)
• Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention Implementation

Mandatory Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in a system administration IT role
• Developing for OpenText Content Management/Content Server platform, including experience with Web Services, REST APIs, OScript, workspaces, reports, forms, workflows, active view, and templates
• Designing low-code solutions for Process Automation/AppWorks Platform, including business process modeling and BPM solutions
• Experience across all SDLC phases
• Java or .NET development with OOP knowledge
• Creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, and SQL
• Managing web/application servers (IIS, Apache)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services
• Understanding of software development standards and Agile methodologies
• Technical documentation skills
• Operational knowledge of SAN/NAS storage systems
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate effectively
• Quick learner of new technologies

Desired Experience:

• Supporting other OpenText products like Archive Center, OTDS, Magellan suite, etc.
• Supporting Knowledgemill, GCI PowerTools, Invoice Capture, Imaging Scan, Vendor Invoice Management
• Data modeling and analysis
• Testing best practices
