Senior Occupational Health & Safety Consultant

Join Arthian as a Senior Occupational Health & Safety Consultant . Work from our offices in Manchester or Glasgow, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The role involves collaboration with experienced consultants and engineers, with potential travel within the UK, Ireland, and overseas. A full UK or ROI driving license, a valid passport, and eligibility to work in these regions are required.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Arthian promotes a positive work environment under the motto ‘See a Difference’.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include an Honours or Masters Degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science, or related fields. Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., IOSH) is advantageous.

Role Requirements

• NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
• Practical experience in occupational health & safety consultancy, especially in industrial or construction settings
• Knowledge of health & safety legislation

Additional Favorable Skills

• Experience with ISO 45001 management systems
• Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015

Skills & Experience

Applicants should have over five years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. Willingness to travel and a proactive approach are essential.
