Qualifications

• 7+ years in live-action feature or episodic compositing with 2+ years in lead role.
• Expert-level Nuke skills and strong compositing workflow knowledge.
• Solid understanding of 3D CG including lighting and rendering.
• Strong leadership and time management; able to mentor others.
• Experience with ShotGrid/Flow and production tracking tools.
• On-set techniques and cinematographic language understanding.
• Willingness to share knowledge and train others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the compositing team to deliver high-quality shots.
• Collaborate with Production and other teams to meet project goals.
• Plan and coordinate compositing deliveries for assigned projects.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all deliveries.
• Identify gaps, diagnose issues, and provide solutions.
• Perform on-the-box compositing for complex live-action and CG shots.
• Apply 2D image manipulation skills to achieve photorealism.
• Develop workflows to anticipate and resolve production problems.
