Malleum seeks a senior Network & Security Consultant to deliver hands-on design, hardening, and operational support for client networks and security infra, including active incident response engagements. You will work remotely and on-site as needed, handling high-intensity IR engagements with professionalism and calm.

The role requires deep experience across Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Cloudflare ecosystems, with strong client-facing skills and an ability to work odd hours during critical

Qualifications

• Experience with multi-vendor network and firewall design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Proven client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in IR or MSSP/IR settings preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CCNA preferred; clearance valued.
• Bilingualism (English/French) considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions for secure remote access.
• Support hybrid cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) and security baselines.
• Lead patch management, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
• Assist with active incident response, including containment and recovery activities.
• Coordinate with IR team to run threat-hunting and forensic activities.
• Maintain and improve backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
