Job summary

Focus Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Network Security Consultant to support Saskatchewan's Health Information Security Operations Team and strengthen enterprise network security across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.

Senior-level expertise in network security architecture, Cisco security platforms, and zero-trust models will guide governance, design, and oversight of security controls while collaborating with internal teams and external partners across Saskatchewan and Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 8 years in network security engineering/architecture
• Active professional-level or expert-level certifications (see list in ad)
• Willingness to travel within Saskatchewan for site visits

Responsibilities

• Govern enterprise network security controls and architectures
• Oversee firewall and remote access security controls
• Collaborate in Architecture Review Board processes
• Review and approve firewall rules and segmentation configurations
• Support hybrid cloud security initiatives and incident response planning
