Job summary

Randstad Digital seeks a Senior / Lead Network Engineer to own network design, architecture, and deployment across enterprise environments while mentoring junior engineers on client sites.

The role requires extensive multi-vendor experience (Cisco Meraki, HP/HPE), strong communication with stakeholders, and MSP/IT consulting background. Hybrid work in the GTA with occasional travel to support IT projects.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years hands-on enterprise network design and troubleshooting.
• Deep expertise in Cisco Meraki and HP/HPE switches.
• Advanced TCP/IP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, routing, VPNs and high-availability.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Delivery: Design, configure, migrate, and support complex enterprise networking solutions.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead junior engineers and set technical standards.
• Client Engagement: Serve as primary technical resource on customer sites.
• Implementation & Migration: Develop implementation, migration, test, and rollback plans with diagrams.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve tier-3 network issues across campus, branch, and data centers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Solutions Architects, PMs, delivery teams and OEM vendors.
