Job summary
Swim Recruiting is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support application development, systems analysis and implementation for a public-sector organization in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
This is an onsite hourly contract. You will bring hands-on .NET development experience with strong systems analysis, design and documentation skills, translating business needs into technical specs and coordinating with developers on interfaces and data conversions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
- Hands-on .NET development experience with systems analysis.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Prepare requirements, feasibility, cost, design and specification documents.
- Assess technical and economic feasibility of proposed systems.
- Analyze functional requirements, information flows and procedures.
- Document detailed systems designs and interfaces.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Collaborate with developers on prototypes and production systems.
- Support implementation and maintain technical procedures and standards.
- Advise on production performance, scalability and security.
- Coordinate data mapping, conversions, and validation.
