Job summary

Splashdot is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer (C#/MS-SQL/Front-end) to join its Product Development Team. The role is remote within Western Canada, with a requirement to reside in Canada and be eligible to work in the country.

You will lead web app and API development, optimize the Splashdot platform, and work with cross-functional teams. Strong C#, SQL Server, and front-end skills are essential, along with Azure DevOps and security practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with C# web development including .NET Core and ASP.NET legacy apps (3.5/4.7).
• 5+ years with Microsoft SQL Server/T-SQL; comfortable with T-SQL without ORMs.
• 5+ years of core front-end web skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; experience with React or Vue; jQuery is a plus.
• Experience building enterprise web apps; knowledge of Azure App Services, DevOps, and related tech is a plus.
• Understanding web app security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing prep.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage deadlines independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to scope and develop web apps and APIs.
• Design and implement improvements to the core platform.
• Identify and fix performance and functional issues.
• Engage in peer code reviews and testing.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies.
• Liaise with client, partner, and vendor technical staff.
