Job summary

Source Code in Toronto is seeking a Sr. Software Developer with 10+ years of experience for the Corrections Systems Portfolio.

The role is on-site in Downtown Toronto with manager's discretion for on-site work, for an initial contract of six months and potential extensions. You will design, code and test enhancements for several JVN and OPS applications using the .NET platform, and develop interfaces with existing .NET systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience
• ASP.NET Programming – all supported versions
• .NET Framework – all supported versions, C#, VB.NET, SQL, XML, Visual Studio
• MS SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Participate in the application design, development, enhancement and deployment of .NET applications
• Develop interfaces with .NET systems within Corrections
• Create programming specifications, UI designs, prototypes and code
• Compile data driven programs, conduct unit tests and debugging
• Provide break-fix and change management support
• Develop documentation and participate in testing
• Design and develop user authentication and access components
• Prepare install packages and install books as required
