TAG HR in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Senior Needs Analysis & Research Consultant for a hybrid role. The position involves leading research, stakeholder engagement, and strategic analysis on a major public policy initiative, with an emphasis on executive-level reporting.
The successful candidate will bring a decade of government or equivalent experience, strong leadership, and a bilingual English/French capability to conduct interviews and prepare professional documentation.

Compensation: Expected hourly rate of $60.00 - $80.00 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and final contract pricing.

Must be a Canadian Citizen.

Must possess a valid Secret Security Clearance.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience working within government, public administration, legal, regulatory, or comparable complex organizations.

Experience serving in a senior leadership or executive advisory capacity within a large organization.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience conducting research, investigations, audits, inquiries, policy reviews, or analyzing complex documentation.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience preparing written and verbal recommendations for senior executives.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience drafting reports, publications, or other documents intended for public release.

Minimum ten (10) years of experience managing complex projects, strategic initiatives, budgets, or major deliverables.

Demonstrated experience conducting policy, governance, legal, or strategic analysis is considered a strong asset.

Must be bilingual (English/French), with the ability to conduct interviews and prepare professional documentation in both official languages.
