Job summary

People Can Fly Studio in Canada is seeking a seasoned Narrative Designer to help build interactive game systems and implement narrative content in Unreal Engine 5. You will work with global teams to deliver immersive, dynamic experiences across multiple platforms.

The role requires 5+ years in game development and a strong understanding of interactive storytelling, with a preference for Unreal Engine 4/5 proficiency and visual scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design and Narrative teams to develop interactive game systems tied to narrative delivery.
• Work in Unreal Engine 5 to implement narrative content.
• Participate in cross-disciplinary pods to deliver dynamic narrative experiences.
• Develop and communicate creative and user experience guidelines ensuring quality and consistency across narrative techniques.
• Contribute to development of narrative processes and pipelines with production team.
• Communicate progress, workflows, and feature availability to content developers and writers.
• Collaborate daily with development sites globally.
