Jabil in Prince George, VA seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer – MV to act as the senior technical authority for MV power distribution products from concept through production release.

You will drive architecture, governance, validation strategies, and lifecycle support, coordinating with global engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet safety, quality, and cost targets while enabling scalable design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems focus.
• 12+ years in MV switchgear/substations and power systems.
• Senior technical leadership across multiple NPI programs and product launches.
• Experience with MV protection, metering, and SCADA integrations.

Responsibilities

• Govern MV electrical architecture for switchgear, substations, and feeders.
• Lead design governance, studies, and coordination against standards.
• Guide protection, relay settings, grounding, and arc-flash mitigation decisions.
• Collaborate with customers, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet targets.
