Job summary

EPAM Systems in Canada is seeking a Senior Murex MxTest Engineer to drive test execution, automation, and EOD validation during the Sybase-to-Oracle migration. You will own MxTest automation and work closely with environment teams across multiple environments.

You will validate data reconciliation, manage defects in Jira/Zephyr, and ensure governance and efficient test execution across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Oracle Database, including SQL, performance, troubleshooting and data validation.
• Proficiency in MxTest automation covering test creation, enhancement and maintenance.
• Experience executing test cases aligned to business requirements and supporting regression cycles with full EOD validation.
• Ability to run and troubleshoot EOD chains in QA environments using Tidal scheduler.
• Strong debugging skills for test failures and batch execution issues.
• Background in data reconciliation between Sybase and Oracle.
• Competency in defect management using Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience working across multiple environments and coordinating with environment teams.

We are seeking a Senior Murex MxTest Engineer to support testing and migration activities from Sybase to Oracle. The role focuses on test execution, automation, and EOD batch validation, with strong involvement in MxTest automation, Oracle data validation, and defect management.

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate.
