Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior Murex Front Office specialist for a contractor role in Toronto, Canada. You will resolve FO issues, validate product pricing, and liaise with tech teams to deliver robust solutions across IRD, EQD and CRD domains.

You will manage yield curves, participate in testing, and support daily FO operations with a strong focus on P&L, market data, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IRD/EQD/CRD products and valuation concepts.
• Proven implementation experience with Murex FO modules.
• Solid understanding of P&L and its components.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
• Validate pricing and valuation of financial products being implemented on Finastra Fusion Invest (including sensitivities and VaR)
• Liaise with the technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
• Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along
• Yield Curve management and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
• Products (IRD, CRD, EQD) management and validation
• Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
• Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
• Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

SKILLS

Must have

• Very Strong product knowledge in IRD, EQD, CRD
• Equity derivatives knowledge. Few key instruments: Portfolio Swaps, Bond Swaps (knowledge will be a huge plus!)
• Product implementation experience
• Very Strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components
• Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
• Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
• Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
• 5+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/module
• Experience in financial markets
• Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
