Responsibilities

• Act as a senior business analyst with several years of experience (10+) in capital markets and trading software.
• Be an integral part of the design, implementation, and test team.
• Gather requirements by conducting workshops or discussions with business teams/SMEs.
• Analyze, evaluate, and verify requirements by working closely with development, verification teams, and business representatives.
• Document requirements in JIRA as user stories with proper acceptance criteria.
• Create user stories, use cases, and scenarios for the given requirements.
• Work and communicate in a cross-functional global team comprising BAs, developers, project managers, and support staff.
• Test and confirm that development meets the requested features.
• Proactively provide status updates, raise issues, and communicate relevant information via daily stand-ups and one-on-one meetings.
• Participate in discussions and presentations.
• Facilitate and assist in story point and task estimation in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of trading asset classes like securities, equities, derivatives, options, swaps, OTC trading, etc.
• Exposure to the Murex platform.
• Strong personality with logical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good product knowledge in IRD, CRD, EQD.
• Understanding of P&L concepts and components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Experience supporting end-users and resolving daily issues.
