The Opportunity

WSP is seeking a motivated Intermediate to Senior Municipal Engineer to join our Municipal Engineering team at our Regina or Saskatoon office. Reporting to the Manager, Land Development & Municipal Engineering - Saskatchewan, you will be responsible for delivering projects for public and indigenous community clients, leading municipal water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects, including planning, design, and construction administration. You will directly engage with clients and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities :

  • Grow WSP’s municipal engineering presence in Saskatchewan, expanding our client base in the public and indigenous sectors.
  • Provide project management, engineering, and technical expertise across all project phases.
  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams with regional and national support.
  • Drive productivity, team motivation, and ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
  • Uphold company values and prioritize health and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGS.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Saskatchewan market.
  • Proven business development skills and existing client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and work independently.
