Today IPG works with Canada’s largest network of independent adjusting firms across the country. Operating out of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, each IPG office is staffed with specialized senior examiners and qualified desktop examiners. We have regional expertise and are licensed in all Canadian provinces. Attendance to the office a minimum of 1 day per week and as needed for training, client meetings and team meetings is required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as an examiner for a class leading Lloyds account which involves providing prompt, fair, quality claims service to clients
  • Manage Municipal Claims consisting ofprofessional liability, Bodily Injury, E&O claims and coverage review ofcomplex liability claims
  • Responsible for detailed thorough coverage analysis of the Policy response to allegations presented
  • Responsible for desk top handling of claims, and settlement ofclaims directly with claimants or their representatives
  • Administer claims payments/settlements through trust accounts
  • Liaise with all stakeholders to insure client's needs are met


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of casualty claims experience including professional lines
  • College diploma or combination of education and equivalent business experience
  • Professional liability experience, including complex coverage analysis
  • Experience dealing with Lloyds a clear advantage
  • Ontario Licensing: CIP Designation

Skills Required to Succeed:

  • Individual must demonstrate the ability to direct adjusters of all levels and work effectively in a team environment
  • Previously demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external associates, written and oral techniques
  • A positive, “can do” attitude and customer service approach ensuring all inquiries are effectively dealt with in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to review and analyze complex coverage
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions
  • Must be proficient in letter and report writing as position entails detailed reporting to our stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Exceptional computer skills. Ability to navigate various systems, proficient in MS Office and work in a paperless environment
