The City of Cambridge is seeking a Senior Municipal By-Law Compliance Officer to enforce city by-laws and policies. This role requires strong communication skills and relevant certifications, along with a commitment to upholding community standards. Job Profile
The City of Cambridge has a temporary opening for Senior Municipal By-Law Compliance Officer in theMunicipal By-Law Compliance Division, Corporate Services Department – City Clerk available immediately. Reporting to the Supervisor of Municipal By-Law Compliance, the following duties will apply :
What you will be doing
Education
Two-year College Diploma in Police Foundations or related discipline.
Experience and Knowledge
A valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence in good standing, with a driver’s abstract acceptable to the City (4 or less demerit points may be considered acceptable).

Current and valid Police Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check to be provided prior to commencement in this position.Proof of your current and valid certificate(s) and / or educational qualifications.Valid G driver's license.Worker Health and Safety Awareness Training certificate from the Ministry of Labour. (may be obtained post offer)
Your compensation
This position is within Grade 11 of the inside workers union salary schedule and has an annual salary range of$90,108.00 - $95,768.00.Comprehensive benefits package included andenrolment in Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS).
Hours of work
The current regular hours of work are in accordance with the collective agreement, however, they are currently Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. (35 hours per week). Regular hours of work are subject to change at the discretion of the Supervisor of Municipal By-law Compliance.
