Job summary

Manulife Integration Engineering team seeks a Senior MuleSoft Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, secure integration platforms connecting enterprise apps, Salesforce, cloud services, and external partners.

You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global environment, delivering cloud-native solutions using MuleSoft, Azure, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-10 years of software engineering experience, including enterprise integration development.
• 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft development experience, including CloudHub 1.0 and CloudHub 2.0.
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Proficiency in Java and experience building scalable, event-driven, and microservices-based solutions.
• Solid understanding of API security, performance optimization, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and relational databases (SQL).

• Experience with containerization and deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and deployment automation tools such as Flux.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and event-driven integration architectures.
• Working knowledge of modern application development technologies, including React, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• MuleSoft Developer and/or Architect certifications are considered an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between
