Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join our team in Ontario. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of A lenders (banks), B lenders, and MICs, along with hands-on experience working with Filogix and Finmo platforms. This role requires strong relationships with BDMs (Business Development Managers) and the ability to confidently structure, underwrite, and close mortgage deals.

Unlike traditional roles, you will not need to source your own business—we will send you deals to close. Your expertise will ensure smooth, compliant, and timely transactions from submission through funding.

Duties

• Review, assess, and underwrite mortgage applications in line with lender guidelines.
• Structure deals with A lenders, B lenders, and MICs to maximize client approvals.
• Work with Filogix and Finmo to process and submit mortgage applications.
• Collaborate with BDMs and lenders to negotiate terms and secure approvals.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and lending policies.
• Manage client files efficiently to achieve smooth closings.
• Provide clear communication to internal teams, lenders, and stakeholders.

• Proven experience as a Mortgage Underwriter in Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of A lenders, B lenders, and MICs.
• Proficiency with Filogix and Finmo.
