Job summary

Cohere is seeking a talented software engineer to join North—our AI workspace platform. You will build and ship features, develop autonomous agents that talk to sensitive enterprise data, and write minimal code for low-resource environments with strict deployment controls.

You will collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques. The role requires shipping fullstack code (Python and React) in production, thriving in fast-paced settings, and spanning the stack

• You excel in fast‑paced environments and can execute while priorities and objectives are a moving target
• You’ve worked in both large enterprises and startups
• You have strong coding abilities and are comfortable working across the stack.
• You’re able to read and understand, and even fix issues outside of the main code base
• You have built and deployed extremely performant client‑side or server‑side RAG/agentic applications to millions of users.
• Bonus: You love art and have an eye for design and a creative mindset - A plus, if you have a portfolio, GitHub or other showcases of your projects.
