Pillway is hiring a Senior Mobile Developer to own our Flutter mobile app and contribute to Angular/Node.js web apps. You will architect scalable solutions, connect robust backends with dynamic frontends, and ensure quality through testing and CI/CD practices.

The role emphasizes modern frontend/mobile frameworks, security awareness, and designing maintainable systems across mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our core engineering team. This role is pivotal for owning and driving the development of our cross-platform mobile application built in Flutter, as well as contributing to our web applications built with Angular, PHP, MySQL and Node.js. We are looking for an ideal candidate who deeply values modern frontend/mobile frameworks and possesses the expertise to architect scalable, maintainable solutions that seamlessly connect robust backends with dynamic mobile and web frontends.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile App Ownership: Architect, develop, and maintain our mobile application built with Flutter, ensuring excellent performance, UI/UX, and stability.

Web & Mobile Systems: Develop web applications and cross-platform features using Angular alongside Node.js services.

System Integration: Design and consume RESTful APIs that ensure smooth data flow between mobile applications, web frontends, and backend microservices.

Code Quality: Advocate for and implement best practices in testing (Unit/Integration), CI/CD, and documentation.

Performance & Optimization: Optimize mobile app performance (Flutter) and web responsiveness (Angular) for high reliability and seamless user experience.

Technical Requirements

Flutter Mastery: Proven experience designing, building, and deploying cross-platform mobile apps in production using Flutter and Dart.

React Native & Next.js: Strong proficiency in React Native for mobile and Next.js/React for web applications.

Backend & TypeScript: Solid experience with Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.

PHP/Laravel Familiarity: Ability to navigate, debug, and extend existing Laravel codebases.

Database Knowledge: Strong SQL skills (MySQL) and experience with ORMs.

Application Security: Strong understanding of security principles (OWASP Top 10), authentication/authorization patterns (JWT, OAuth), input validation, data protection, and secure API design. Experience conducting code reviews with a security-first mindset.

DevOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud hosting (Azure).

Nice to Have

AI Development Tools: Practical experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to improve productivity, code quality, testing, refactoring, and documentation workflows.

Architecture Transition: Experience transitioning features from a monolith to a service-oriented architecture.

Clean Code Practices: A strong opinion on clean code and architectural patterns (SOLID, Clean Architecture).
