Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil or mining engineering.
• At least 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience in managing large-scale mining projects (budget, schedule, multidisciplinary teams).
• Knowledge of mining sector standards (Directive 19, etc.).
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of a mining project (design, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time delivery and spec compliance.
• Liaise with civil and mining engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Produce progress reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams.
