Job summary

Napoleon in Barrie, Ontario is seeking a Senior Millwright to join our advanced manufacturing team. You will install, maintain and repair CNC machinery, PLC-controlled systems, and robotics within a highly automated fabrication facility.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years post-certification in a fast-paced environment, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and proven leadership ability to coach apprentices and junior technicians while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, college or trade school training.
• Apprenticeship completion as a Millwright and relevant certification.
• Experience with highly automated CNC machinery and PLC systems.
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical/electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain CNC machines, robotic systems, and PLC-driven equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues on complex machinery.
• Fabricate, weld, and machine precision components for repairs and upgrades.
• Champion safety, perform inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.
