Job summary

A global staff augmentation firm is seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter to provide support for Middleware infrastructures. Key responsibilities include expert knowledge on Web technologies and ensuring compliance with operational risks. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills in HTTP servers, WebSphere Application Server, and scripting languages. This contract position is ideal for self-starters with communication prowess, working in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Knowledge and experience with HTTP servers such as IHS, Apache etc.
• Strong Knowledge and experience with WebSphere Application Server 7.x, 8.x.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, AIX, SUN Solaris, and Linux.
• Ability to work on an on-call rotation.
• Must be a self-starter with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 support for systems involved in the architecture.
• Function as Web Technology Expert on IBM WebSphere.
• Perform WAS deployment and administration on heterogeneous systems.
• Identify operational risks and work with teams to mitigate.
• Ensure compliance with disaster recovery and business requirements.

Skills

Knowledge and experience with HTTP servers

Knowledge and experience with WebSphere Application Server

Knowledge and experience with Tomcat, JBOSS EAP, WebLogic and IIS

Knowledge of Databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase SQL)

Strong knowledge of UNIX and Windows scripting

Knowledge and experience with Python and Ansible

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage conflicting requests
