Job summary

Ogilvy Health Canada seeks a Senior Medical Copywriter to join a cross-functional team of Creatives, Client Services, Strategists and Project Managers. You will contribute high-quality writing from first draft to final release, mentoring as needed, and ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance for pharmaceutical communications.

The role emphasizes brand stewardship, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to present concepts to clients.

Qualifications

• Medical/Pharmaceutical CME experience required.
• 4+ years copywriting experience in an agency or similar environment.
• Ability to craft engaging, digestible copy for any audience in any channel.
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
• Professional knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Write copy for promotional pieces across any medium.
• Attend project briefs and work with the cross-functional team.
• Work with Art Directors at project inception to understand specs and text restrictions.
• Be a champion for assigned brands and manage copy updates.
• Collaborate with other Creatives to achieve communications objectives and ensure compliance.
