We’re one of the most advanced and innovative interactive studios in North America, developing online experiences and mobile marketing programs for some of the most respected brands in the world. In your first three months, you’ll touch more brands, and gain more experience, than you would working in a traditional agency for a year.

Job Description

Fuel is a global creative and advanced technology agency specializing in youth culture. Fuel helps Fortune 500 global brands such as Microsoft, Coke, Mattel, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, Disney, McDonald’s, and Hasbro with deep, digital brand experience such as immersive virtual worlds, new technologies (VR/AR/MR), mobile apps, branded entertainment, experiential marketing, and loyalty programs.

If you’re smart, curious, and passionate about data we have the perfect opportunity for you to work in an enriching and highly collaborative digital-first environment.

We have an opening for a Media Planner in Ottawa, ON, Los Angeles, CA, or Seattle, WA. You will develop an understanding of how a digital agency operates and the process of establishing business relationships. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop overall Strategic direction for Media efforts across all channels (Broadcast, Radio, OOH, Print, Digital, Search, etc.)
  • Define spend, measurements and decision-making methodology
  • Procure and develop best in class media vendor relationships and identify strategic partnership opportunities for Fuel
  • Build plan options that deliver against client/campaign objectives and craft well supported data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Ability to build client-facing assets including pitch decks and wrap reports

Qualifications

  • Client facing experience a must, used to expectations, client communication and education is key.
  • Generate ideas and articulate ‘the big picture’ above and beyond the detail level
  • Stay up-to-date with media trends, potential new channels and strategies to keep Fuel ahead, including updates to digital media, attribution, and programmatic media buying
  • Translate client needs into campaign strategies that over-deliver on their needs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategic and integrated client media plans and marketing recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of client business and provide appropriate and timely strategic solutions
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current industry trends, emerging communication channels, and consumer behavior.
  • Very comfortable with analytics and ideally can tie it back to not only media metrics but the client's business challenges and needs and how to provide solutions to address them.
  • Great multi-tasker and problem solver, comfortable with doing a lot with a little.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, or Keynote, and Advanced Excel
  • Great relationship builder and someone who likes to have fun!
