Job summary

Canadian Pacific Railway (CPKC) invites applications for a Supervisor to lead planning, scheduling, and resource assignment to keep locomotive and yard operations safe, efficient, and compliant. You will supervise a unionized team, oversee repairs and servicing to AAR/Transport Canada standards, and partner with internal and external teams to optimize performance.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid license, and 2 years of supervisory experience; shift flexibility and MS Office

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in logistics or operations preferred.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read and follow safety instructions and operating rules in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a unionized team responsible for maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on locomotives and equipment.
  • Ensure repairs and servicing meet AAR, Transport Canada, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to improve operations and compliance.
  • Drive safety, service, productivity and financial performance metrics.
  • Conduct shift briefings and coach team members for skill development.
