Job description

Lead Mechanical Project Manager RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of working from home while maintaining strong in-office collaboration.This position will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to some of the most impactful and sustainable building projects in Canada, including hospitals, government facilities, post-secondary institutions, and transit hubs.Leads mechanical design project delivery from concept to constructionCollaborates with principals and design teams to develop engineering concepts and reportsEvaluates project alignment with codes, standards, schedules, and budgetsReviews site conditions and existing installations, interpreting impacts on the projectLiaises with clients, consultants, and contractors; represents the firm in meetings and presentationsMonitors hours, fee allocation, and project scope; prepares contract amendments as neededContributes to quality assurance and enforces standards in documentation and design processesThe ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in mechanical building services design and project coordination, be registered P.Eng. in BC or eligible for registration within one year, and possess proficient skills in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks Manage, and Dynamo.
