You will guide the full design lifecycle and mentor junior engineers, while integrating high‑resolution sensor assemblies into robust products. The role requires hands‑on prototyping, testing, and collaboration with external vendors, with on‑site work at our North Vancouver HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and toleranced drawings for fabrication.
• Experience with electromechanical assemblies and thermal management.
• Proven ability to work with external vendors and contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical parts and assemblies for sensors and packaging.
• Perform calculations and use tools like FEA to validate designs.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers for components.
• Prototype, test, troubleshoot, and validate new products.
• Travel to field offices for final testing as needed.
