What You’ll Do

Lead mechanical design assignments with a focus on healthcare facilities, applying advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to support healing environments.

Champion patient-centered design by integrating mechanical systems that enhance comfort, safety, and infection control.

Use your expertise in Revit to produce high-quality documentation and mentor junior technologists, along with contributing to the development and refinement of Revit standards, templates and workflows.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and healthcare planners to ensure mechanical systems align with clinical workflows and regulatory standards.

Conduct site surveys and field reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Support contract administration and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, aligned with WalterFedy’s values of quality, client focus, teamwork, sustainability, and community.

What You Bring To The Table

Diploma in Architecture / Construction Engineering Technology or a related field.

7+ years of experience in mechanical design and drafting, especially in healthcare settings.

Advanced proficiency in Revit.

Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, OBC, NFPA, CSA Z317.2 and other relevant codes.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience in contract administration and mentoring is a strong asset.
