WeAre WSP

What you can expect to do here :

  • Provide design, calculations, and technical support for fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, and controls systems in retrofit or new projects.
  • Conduct engineering studies and assessments with reports.
  • Prepare and execute markups into CAD or Revit MEP drawings.
  • Compile and prepare project specifications.
  • Manage client and consultant communications.
  • Oversee deadlines, coordinate with disciplines, and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Review shop drawings and respond to RFI during construction.
  • Prepare change notices, change orders, and payment certificates during contract administration.
  • Conduct site surveys and reviews to ensure adherence to contract documents and safety standards.

What you'll bring to WSP :

  • Certified Technician (CTech) or certified engineering technologist (C.E.T.).
  • Over 10 years of experience in relevant system design.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes including Ontario Building Code, ASHRAE, NFPA, CSA.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and load analysis software like HAP.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing workloads.
  • Ability to obtain PSPC Reliability clearance.
