About the Role

You will leverage advanced engineering principles and cutting‑edge design tools to drive projects from ideation through to production, collaborating with a globally distributed team of experts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process for new product development, from concept generation to detailed design and validation.
• Utilize advanced 3D CAD software and simulation tools to create complex designs and perform engineering analyses (e.g., FEA, CFD).
• Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, in a remote setting.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation activities, analyzing results and iterating on designs for optimal performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical product design and development.
• Expertise in parametric 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Proven experience leading design projects and working within agile development frameworks.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.
