Job summary

Ethos in Southwestern Ontario seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead a team of up to 10 design engineers in delivering mechanical products and systems that meet customer needs.

You will plan projects, evaluate mechanical systems, test feasibility, and develop cost-saving manufacturing processes while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance. Strong CAD, Excel skills, and cost accounting understanding are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Senior-level engineer with 5+ years experience.
• Heavy haul trailer engineering experience is a plus.
• Heavy equipment engineering experience is a plus.
• Advanced computer skills and ability to understand electronic processing.
• Proficient in Excel and CAD software systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interfaces.
• Functional understanding of cost accounting.
