A leading ferry service provider in British Columbia is seeking a Senior Master, Minor to manage vessel operations and crew. You will lead the ship's management team, improve customer service and safety, and ensure compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a Master Mariner certificate, at least three years of relevant experience, and strong leadership skills. The position offers a salary range of $144,700 – $180,900 per annum.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic leader to join as the senior member of the ship’s management team. Reporting to the Marine Superintendent, North, this position is responsible for the overall management of the employees and vessel including managing and leading the Shipboard Management Team.

What you bring to the team
You have a Master near Coastal or Master Mariner certificate of competency and at least three years experience as a Master of a vessel over 350 GRT. In addition, a minimum of one year post-secondary education in business or a related field or equivalent.
One year of shore-side management experience in a business setting is an asset. Travel is required.

The target salary range: $144,700 – $180,900 per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. Starting salary may exceed the target range on exceptional basis.
