A leading global manufacturing firm in Mississauga is seeking a marketing leader to drive growth initiatives across product management and strategic planning. You will manage a team, oversee P&L, and coordinate with global teams to launch innovative products. The ideal candidate will have a business or marketing degree and significant experience in a similar role. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
As a key member of the Channel Marketing Team, you will be responsible for managing a team and leading the growth of your portfolio. This leadership role will assume responsibilities for P&L, product management, pricing strategies, promotional strategies, forecasting, asset management and public relations. This individual must have well rounded business skill set to direct growth initiatives in these categories over the next several years and a keen insight to the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities :
P&LSBU responsibility:Sales,Margins,Expenses & Operating Income
Developandimplement (3) Year Strategic Plan,lineplans,linereviews,channelandaccount specificbusinessplans to drivesalesandprofit growth.
Customizetheexecutionofnational(brand,product, customer experience)
Financial measurement / tracking forBusinessreviews.
Marketing Management including:SAP SKU structuring, forecasting,asset management,servicelevelanalysis and Canadian derivativemodelexecution.
Createandimplement innovativenewproductlaunches.
Key point ofcontact withUS and GlobalMarketing Teams.
Co-developproductlaunchplans withUS Marketing and Canadian SalesTeams.
Co-ordinatepromotionalproductlaunches(bonus packs/merchandisers etc).
Educatessalesand customers onemerging trends and howsolutions are appliedtomaximizebenefit.
Provideproductknowledgeto SalesForceandin key account presentations.
Communicatemarketing activities to otherdepartmentson a regularbasisto ensureintegrationandsupport forprograms and initiatives.

Selection Standards:
CollegeorUniversitygraduate,preferablywithBusinessorMarketing background
Minimum 3-5years' experience as a marketing professional,demonstrating increasing levels ofresponsibility

Workedcloselysupporting salesin a similarrolewouldbe an asset
Strongproduct knowledge of the Retail Channel and products
Demonstratedproject managementexperience
