The Job!

As the Senior Marketer, you will collaborate with Canadian and global marketing teams to meet local business needs. Your responsibilities will include the following :

• Implement marketing plans aimed at generating measurable commercial outcomes in Canada.
• Facilitate coordination across internal teams and external vendors for Canadian initiatives.
• Align marketing deliverables with distribution priorities and business objectives.
• Adapt global marketing materials for the Canadian market, ensuring relevance and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with content creation tailored to Canadian compliance standards, AODA requirements, and bilingual (French / English) needs.
• Manage logistics of localized content, including distribution-specific adjustments.
• Ensure Canadian marketing content is visible, engaging, and strategically relevant.
• Execute tasks through established workflows to ensure efficient resource use and strategic coherence.
• Oversee campaign deployment, ensuring alignment with Canadian market expectations.
• Support planning and logistics for advisor-facing events (in-person and digital).
• Develop targeted pre- and post-event communications to drive engagement and product awareness.
• Partner with Canadian distribution and product teams to tailor marketing strategies to local audiences.
• Identify client-centric themes and commercial opportunities specific to Canada.
• Use segmentation and sales data to test and refine engagement strategies.
• Serve as a strategic partner to uncover and act on market gaps or alignment opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards in all marketing activity.

What you bring to the job

You are an effective project manager capable of handling multiple priorities under tight timelines and come with the following qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or sales within investment management or financial services.
• Direct experience supporting sales teams and / or financial advisors is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement.
• Client-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to perform in fast-paced, high-demand environments.
• Skilled in prioritization and flexible decision-making to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player who values cross-functional teamwork.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe tools (Acrobat / Editor).
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications preferred; equivalent experience considered.
