RTX Corporation is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Market Risk Fleet. The role requires on-site onboarding on day 1 in Montreal with hybrid work (3 days in office per week) and collaboration across Canada, India, Hungary, UK, and the USA.

You will design and implement distributed Java microservices for risk calculation in a cloud-enabled environment. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on Java, Spark, SQL, and Linux experience, plus strong problem solving and teamwork in an agile

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on Core Java (server-side) experience.
• Spark, Python and data pipeline experience is a plus.
• Strong OO design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Experience building multi-threaded applications and concurrency handling.
• JUnit-based unit testing and coding standards.
• Relational DB modeling and SQL proficiency.
• Agile development and DevOps practices in a global team.
• Clear, concise communication in a distributed environment.
