Job description

Join Ipsos as a Senior Market Research Manager, Market Strategy and Understanding in the US. This role involves working with clients to understand their business issues and executing custom research projects. You will manage multiple projects from start to finish, including designing research approaches, liaising with Research Operations, analyzing data, developing insights, and creating presentations to illuminate human behaviors behind the data. The Senior Account Manager reports to the Vice President and works within a team of curious researchers and client partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand and address clients' business needs and issues.
  2. Manage large-scale, multi-country tracking projects, coordinating with operations, scripting, data processing, and coaching junior staff.
  3. Act as a liaison between internal teams and clients, translating requests into survey updates.
  4. Provide timely deliverables and analysis to meet client objectives.
  5. Ensure consistency and quality across regions as the primary contact for reporting teams.
  6. Assist in proposal development.
  7. Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
  8. Potentially oversee and guide Account Managers/Research Analysts, including training and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably on the supplier side of market research.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to turn data into insights and storytelling.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and curious about the 'why' behind data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in market research, marketing, business, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation tools; experience with Harmoni, Infotools, SPSS is a plus.
