The Consumer Security and New Product Integration team leads the go-to-market strategy for physical and online security, as well as providing integration and launch readiness for TELUS Consumer Solutions new product portfolio. We are a positive, solution-focused, action-oriented group leading the way in an exciting growth area for TELUS' Home Solutions business across Canada.

We are looking for a confident, curious and highly motivated self-starter to join our team as a Senior Market Intelligence Manager. You will be a trusted advisor, playing an integral role in guiding our business strategy while clearly and effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. Your keen strategic ability to distill complex data into actionable insights will enhance the team's ability to drive transformational business outcomes. You will play a leading role in the development of our business strategy and support the effectiveness of its execution through data driven insights, scenario-based analysis and planning.

With your exemplary skills in business case development, financial modeling, data analysis and research, you will work with a cross-functional team to closely monitor strategic initiatives, improve alignment on reporting and ensure all of our activities leverage data-driven insights.

  • Lead weekly results reporting reviews across a broad portfolio of products for a variety of different audiences and governance forums, including preparing required data analysis and supporting materials for the ELT level
  • Support the development of monthly, quarterly and annual program targets with a solid understanding of the impact to overall costs and revenue
  • Assess ambiguous business problems in a logical and thoughtful manner, particularly with respect to new capabilities and business strategies
  • Conduct scenario-based analysis and modeling to facilitate strategic decision making
  • Analyze data and make recommendations to improve performance outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers and leaders across the business
  • Enhance and evolve reporting processes and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to team members on a regular basis

  • Proficiency in using Google suite, including significant experience managing data in Google Sheets and preparing decks in Google Presentations.
  • Skilled in strategy development and business analysis
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation abilities with demonstrated ability to take the message to senior leaders within and across the organization
  • Ability to tackle ambiguous problems in a clear and strategic manner, as a business case or structured project / program
  • Ability to confidently & tactfully collaborate and influence without hierarchical authority
  • Proven business acumen with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial skills
  • Superior time management and attention to detail

  • Certifications with data-centric software applications such as BI and DOMOnd language like Excel, SQL Python, Alteryx or Dbeaver
