Job summary

A leading defense solutions provider is seeking a Senior Constructive Designer to join their team in Halifax, Ottawa, or Victoria. This role involves designing and developing structural solutions for marine platforms, ensuring compliance with standards, and mentoring junior staff. With a degree in Engineering technology and 8 years of experience, candidates will thrive in a collaborative environment delivering critical services for national defense.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in structural drafting and design.
• Registration as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions with a Structural focus.
• Support technical drawings and specifications for Engineering Changes.
• Check design outputs from junior designers.
