Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC in Mississauga is seeking a Senior Manual QA / Functional Tester with strong Capital Markets / Treasury domain knowledge and BA collaboration to own QA activities across pre- and post-trade processes. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/Testing, solid SQL skills, experience with Jira, and the ability to translate business requirements into test scenarios.

Familiarity with front-to-back trade lifecycle is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA / Manual & Functional Testing experience.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Financial Services / Capital Markets / Treasury / Trading experience.
• Experience with Pre-Trade & Post-Trade systems.
• Strong understanding of Front-to-Back Trade Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Money Market and Foreign Exchange preferred.
• Understanding of Deal Capture, Trade Execution, Risk Management, Confirmations, Accounting & Settlement.
• Strong defect reporting and troubleshooting using Jira.
• Ability to work with BAs and Dev teams; strong communication and analytical skills.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Manual QA / Functional Tester with strong Capital Markets / Treasury domain knowledge and a good understanding of Business Analysis (BA) processes.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of QA / Manual & Functional Testing experience
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation
• Financial Services / Capital Markets / Treasury / Trading experience
• Experience with Pre-Trade & Post-Trade systems
• Strong understanding of Front-to-Back Trade Lifecycle
• Knowledge of Money Market (MM) and Foreign Exchange (FX) is highly preferred
• Understanding of Deal Capture, Trade Execution, Risk Management, Confirmations, Accounting & Settlement
• Strong defect reporting and troubleshooting skills using Jira
• Ability to understand business requirements and work closely with Business Analysts (BA) and Development teams
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
