Title and Summary

As a Senior Managing Consultant in Advisors & Consulting Services, you will lead client engagements, focusing on strategic, operational, and transformational challenges in the payments industry, especially in acquiring strategies and growth drivers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead project delivery teams providing insights and solutions to support the growth, operations, and strategy of acquiring clients.
  • Identify creative and efficient solutions, guiding teams to business-focused recommendations that drive client value.
  • Develop strategies and programs leveraging data and technology to unlock client value.
  • Manage senior client relationships, including C-suite engagement, to drive success.
  • Engage proactively on client agendas, internal culture, and relationship risks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and promote enthusiasm within the Mastercard team.

Team Collaboration & Culture

  • Guide teams through complex problem-solving to deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Motivate teams to produce high-quality deliverables and foster an inclusive environment.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to scope projects and create relevant solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to Mastercard’s knowledge management.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in acquiring, operations, growth, or product development, ideally at a senior level or as a consultant supporting acquirers.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Excellent client management, communication, and presence, capable of engaging at all levels, including C-suite.
  • Ability to identify and leverage cross-sell opportunities and partner with broader teams.
  • Leadership qualities to inspire teams and manage complex projects.
  • Degree requirements: Undergraduate or Master’s; certifications like CRCM or CFE are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of acquiring strategies, operations, and technology solutions.
  • Must be eligible to work in the applying country and willing to travel.
