Overview
What is the opportunity?
The Wealth Management Transformation Management Office (TMO) oversees and guides the WM segment through transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with LOBs and segment strategic goals. The TMO manages the transformation process focusing on transparency, agile ways of working and in-year value creation within multi-year programs, in partnership with the WM lines of businesses.
This role will enable the TMO to guide LOBs in aligning programs with the vision and goals of the WM segment through the process of identifying key strategic programs, creating OKRs, securing funding on prioritized programs and providing advisory services to perform core functions, including program planning and structuring.
Responsibilities
What will you do?
The WM TMO will centralize the knowledge and services necessary to bridge the WM Segment, its LOBs and its Support Functions, promoting stronger collaboration, improved outcomes, increased transparency and accelerated growth by focusing on the following:
- Cross Business Program Management Support:
- Support the setup and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives and recovery of distressed initiatives through partial and full service where needed:
- Partial service: e.g., program stand-up, health checks, at-risk project support, Agile coaching, change management support.
- Full service: e.g., delivery resources for cross-business programs, including SP&D as a means of centralization.
- Structure value-driven programs with clear OKRs, business cases, and roadmaps aligned to LOBs and WM segment strategy.
- Support LOBs define multi-year strategic programs PARs with alignment to their LOB and Segment objectives.
- Support and challenge the articulation of program OKRs that drive towards the LOB and Segment objectives.
- Advisory & Centre of Excellence:
- Provide advisory support to enable the business and other stakeholders to perform core functions, including program planning & structuring, business casing & funding, program governance & delivery model (including 3-in-a-box role of Business, T&O and Digital), Agile enablement, change management, issue and risk management, benefit realization & tracking, and use of TMO tools.
- Ensure early adoption of strategic ways of working, governance model and defined accountabilities for business teams.
- Enable LOBs and delivery teams with best practices, tools and coaching for self-managed execution.
Qualifications
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves:
- Proven success in project, program, and/or portfolio management in a large financial institutions or corporation including financial planning, leading initiatives from planning into execution.
- Expert knowledge with productivity tools (e.g. Planview, Atlassian: Confluence & JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, Data visualization) and techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, programs and portfolios.
- Experience with business cases, investments, benefits/value, OKR tracking, and the ability to translate data into insights that supports problem analysis and identification of recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate a wide variety of complex information in both oral and written format at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills to obtain results through partnerships, impact and influence, being comfortable to deal with uncertainty and maintaining an open-flexible mindset.
- Excellent prioritization and coordination skills, combined with the ability to work to multiple deadlines under pressure.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in Agile Coaching and Change Management, providing advice & guidance for execution roles.
- Experience of business analysis on large transformational initiatives.
- Project Management qualifications (PfMP, PgMP, PMP).
- Wealth Management / International work experience.
