Shared Health in Winnipeg seeks a part-time Health Records Clerk to support the Health Information Services team. The role involves processing mail and reports, sorting and distributing documents, and filing records in Terminal Digit order while maintaining accurate locations and retrievals.
Primary responsibilities include filing, pulling health records, and updating locations using hospital computer systems.
Working as a member of the Health Records Team the incumbent is responsible but not limited to processing which includes sorting and distributing mail and reports and placing reports in Terminal Digit (TD) order, date stamping and filing reports within the health record. Filing and pulling health records. Utilizing computer systems to obtain information necessary to retrieve and file reports & health records and update health record locations.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
