Overview
Position Summary... The Senior Manager, Tax ensures timely completion and delivery of all Indirect tax compliance obligations, providing leadership in issue resolution, systems implementation, and tax compliance processes. This role supports various areas of the company, ensuring alignment with overall tax compliance.
Responsibilities
- The Senior Manager, Tax leads tax and eco fees compliance and system support, ensuring adherence to tax and eco fees compliance and control for existing and new programs. This position manages system implementations and updates, ensuring accurate tax and fee capture and documentation.
- The role oversees daily tax and eco fee compliance, reporting, and systems control, developing direct reports and providing regular performance evaluations.
- Develops an in-depth understanding of end-to-end systems, processes, accounting, and controls for all tax and eco fees operations; manages research and analysis of tax and eco fees related issues; highlights and remediates issues, proposing resolution plans to senior leadership.
- Oversees procedural documentation for all systems and processes necessary for tax and eco fees collection, remittance, and recovery.
- Oversees system implementations and new business initiatives impacting the compliance process, working closely with required business functions; reviews contracts, manages external government audits, provides necessary analysis and documentation, and responds to queries.
- Promotes tax and eco fees awareness and knowledge; proposes changes to policies and systems to improve internal controls and departmental efficiencies.
- Reviews and manages tax and eco fees research based on current and proposed legislation; assesses and communicates the impact of tax changes.
- Drives associate engagement, values and develops team members, and identifies and sets goals for direct reports.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure tax and eco fees implications are identified and reported appropriately, ensuring compliance with all tax and eco fees requirements.

- CPA CA Required
- CICA Indepth Tax Course
- Strong interpersonal & presentation skills
- Result oriented and critical thinking – high sense of ownership
- Strong organization skills, able to meet conflicting deadlines, ability to multi-task
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 - 8 years
